Four killed,13 severely injured in an auto crash accident along Ikaram Akunu road in the Akoko area of Ondo State on Saturday.
The unit commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Ikare Akoko, Mr. Oluropo Alabi, has said that that the four corpses were deposited at the mortuary of Ikare Akoko Specialist Hospital while the injured also received treatment at the same hospital.
Alabi who also commented the rescue team of the command for rushing to the scene of the accident on time to assist the victims.
According to an eyewitness account name withheld attributed the accident to Tyre burst stressing that it was an ash colour Hiace Toyota commercial vehicle heading for the northern part of the country
In a related development the The divisional Police Officer Okeagbe Akoko, SP Paullinus Unnah, confirmed that the vehicle involved in the auto crash was in police custody at Ikare Akoko.
