Kano speaker condoles with deputy majority leader over father’s demise

The Speaker of the Kano State Assembly, Hamisu Ibrahim Chidari, on Monday, condole with the Deputy Majority Leader, Abdullahi Iliyasu Yaryasa, over the death of his father, Alhaji Iliyasu Yaryasa, whom he described as a symbol of unity and religious tolerance.

During his condolence visit, the Speaker stated that the death of Alhaji Iliyasu Yaryasa of Yaryasa town in the Tudun Wada Local Government Area of Kano State was a great loss to the nation.

According to Speaker Chidari, the late Iliyasu Yaryasa lived a life worthy of emulation, pointing out that as an ethically minded personality, he devoted his entire lifetime to the development of Islam and his people.

Following his demise, Hamisu Ibrahim Chidari extended his condolence to the State governor, the District Head of Tudun Wada and the entire People of Tudun Wada Local Government area.

Prominent among dignitaries, who accompanied the Speaker during the condolence visit, include the Deputy Speaker, Zubairu Hamza Massu; the Majority Leader, Labaran Abdul Madari; and members of the House, as well as the Special Adviser to the Executive Governor on Assembly Matters, Tasi’u Rabi’u Panisau.

In a press statement, the Director of Press and Public Affairs, Uba Abdullahi, noted that the Speaker prayed to the Almighty Allah to grant his soul Jannatul Firdausi and the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

The late Iliyasu Yaryasa was survived by many children and grandchildren; among his children was Abdullahi Iliyasu Yaryasa, the Deputy Majority Leader in the State House of Assembly.
