Peter Olayinka has been handed a four-match ban by the Czech Republic Football Federation for his unruly behaviour in a league match.

Olayinka was sent off for headbutting an opponent in Slavia Prague’s league match against Liberec before the international break.

The forward and Slavia Prague have the opportunity to appeal the decision.

The 27-year-old will now miss Slavia Prague’s Cup match against Bohemians, league matches against Sigma Olomouc, Mladá Boleslav and the Prague derby against Sparta Prague.

Olayinka has been in prolific form for Slavia Prague this season, netting 10 goals and five assists in 18 league appearances.

The Nigeria international will move to Serbian club, Red Star Belgrade, this summer.
